This three-day trip through the Merzouga Sahara Desert from Fes to Marrakech will begin at your Fes hotel or riad, where our driver and guide will meet you. The route to Merzouga will then pass by the most breathtaking tonne of Ifrane, with a stop to see monkeys at the cedar forest of Azrou and see Ziz Valley. The following days, you will visit the well-known Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and stroll along the breathtaking Todgha Gorges before being dropped off at your riad or hotel in Marrakech.
Day 1: Fes to Merzouga
Depart from Fes in the morning.
En route, visit Ifrane, known as "Switzerland of Morocco."
Explore the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas and meet Barbary apes.
Continue to Merzouga, near the Sahara Desert.
Arrive in Merzouga, enjoy a traditional dinner, and stay overnight in a camp or hotel.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert Experience
Experience a sunrise camel trek over the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Visit nomadic families and learn about their lifestyle.
Explore the village of Khamlia, known for Gnawa music.
Enjoy a desert picnic and relax at the campsite.
Evening entertainment with traditional music around a campfire.
Overnight stay in a desert camp, sleeping in a traditional Berber tent.
Day 3: Merzouga to Marrakech
Depart from Merzouga towards Marrakech.
Stop at Rissani, a historical market town.
Visit the fossil-rich Erfoud and the Todra Gorge.
Explore the ancient Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
Continue through the High Atlas Mountains.
Arrive in Marrakech by evening, concluding the tour.
